I'm a 19 year old aspiring filmmaker currently going to university to study filmmaking. As a queer person, I hope to make films that help people feel represented.Currently, I specialise in directing, however I would love to look more into cinematography and editing.

PHOTOGRAPHY

One of my hobbies is going to concerts and I love taking this opportunity to improve my photography and photograph the artist. Here are a few of my photos alongside the music magazine me and Alyssa Sharples are currently working on:

Concert photography isn't all I'm passionate about, I also love taking photos to help spread a message, such as political graffiti and protests. I have attached some of these below alongside other pieces of photography I am proud of:

I am very proud to say that one o]f my photos was used in the Burnley Express.

FILM

Despite the acting not being the best, I am insanely proud of some of these camera angles which I directed and edited together. This is some of my early work from my first year of college, I feel as if I have improved immensely, but feel as if this project shows potential.

Even though I was acting, I directed a lot of the camera shots and did my best to edit them to look good together, despite the camera work being blurry.

Below is my music video that I edited, acted in and helped direct alongside my classmates.

GRAPHICS

Despite graphics not being a main interest, I've still worked hard to try and improve my skills so that I can potentially use them for any films I create.

Alongside my own projects, I have participated in extracurricular activities and helped my peers with both acting and modelling for their projects.
I have also taken part in programmes outside of my college work.

Throughout my life, I have had an interest and passion for acting alongside media and have participated in many different things such as musicals and workshops.

One of my proudest achievements is performing at the Edinburgh Fringe with FirstByte, a Burnley Youth Theatre company. With this experience, I learnt how to work together as a team to promote our show and come up with creative solutions if something went wrong whilst performing.
During this experience I learnt how to develop a basic idea into a fully fledged story, constantly making changes to the script if something didn't work.

I was lucky enough to be included in a music video shoot for the band STONE. Alongside getting experience acting in a music video, this helped me see how music videos are shot professionally and opened my eyes on how to direct different types of people.

This is a music magazine created by one of my classmates. I modelled for her and listened to her directions, doing my best to help her vision come to life.

This design then went on to win Best Graphic Design at my college Oscars.

I have also modelled for other classmates music magazines, such as Isobelle Alderson and Chloe Morris.

- International Vocational Placement Award: I took part in this programme and got the opportunity to do some volunteer work doing promotion for a local hotel in Crete. You can see some of my work here.
